My colleague Daniel Cohen, the founder and lead copywriter of Redshift Writers, recently asked me to do a series of guests posts for the Inaugural Techstreet Houston Conference happening this November at the George R. Brown Convention Center. For those not in the know, Houston is the coolest city in the US right now, mostly because of jobs and affordable quality of life.

The conference will show off how Houston is utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) to build a smarter city for 21st century. Over two days, visitors will have the opportunity to listen to various speakers expound upon the latest cutting-edge developments in technology, to watch Houston’s startup community pitch their business plans to the public at the HATCH Demo Day, and possibly participate in the Code Street Hackathon.
